Frodo's Destiny

Amid the spying eagles and the watchful eyes Over river westward where Mordor lies The two alone we journey twixt heavy gloom Racing into danger to the cracks of doom The riders nine that now fly in open air Pass over humble halflings and the Ring they bear The Dark Lord who sits in his mighty tower Wields Orc and Wolf to seek a mighty power But Frodo and his mate go swiftly into night Though no glorious battle shall they fight For the sake of hobbits, elves, dwarves, and men Good creatures of the Earth shall walk free again

The end of the first book of The Lord of the Rings. I recommend reading all 3.
